Comment: Have always used a slow cooker since buying my first in 1973 and wouldn't be without one. Whilst I was working I could always have a substantial meal cooking that I knew wouldn't spoil. Now I am retired and living in Spain, I prepare a dish, let it cook in the slow cooker outside and go to the beach!! It cooks the best and juiciest roast chicken and ham joint and is so easy to keep clean. Forget your halogen oven or pressure cooker!! This is clean cut, cheap to run and the pot is attractive enough to serve from at the table.
